We are excited to announce a new project we have been working on over the past year! Well, really, it’s the birth of a dream that started 20 years ago when our founder, Carrie Norman, began serving families of children with hearing differences. While this project is a work in progress, our hope is that as you find this information, you will begin asking what your role in partnering with us might be…
So what exactly is The Hope Center?
We are so glad you asked!!
At first, it was in idea. A dream. A calling.
Now, it is becoming a reality and you can have a part in it.
Phase One: Training Content
We are creating state of the art training modules that help families & professionals understand more about their role in managing hearing health needs in each stage of the journey. When the content is ready for public distribution, you will be able to subscribe to the content that is most relevant to you.
Phase Two: Non-Profit Formation
We are creating an organization where families & professionals can come together and support each other as they journey through the stages of hearing health. Its purpose is to support and fulfill the mission of the Hope Center for Hearing & Communication which is to help individuals with hearing differences communicate to the best of their ability by partnering with families, professionals & the community.
Phase Three: Comprehensive Care
Wouldn’t it be great if families could get all their hearing and communication needs met in ONE PLACE? No more searching all over to find an ENT, an Audiologist, a Speech Therapist, a Counselor, an Advocate… Comprehensive Care managed through one location. One central company that helps connect you to the care you need from the hearing and communication professionals you trust. Strong networks. Community partnerships. Trusted counsel. The answers you need. The quality care you are looking for… all together. Working together. Seamless care. Online and in person. Professionals will be able to list their services for easy access. Families will be able to get recommendations and make connections.
Phase Four: Community Partnerships
Giving back. Getting connected. Learning from each other. Working together with partners in education, therapy, medicine, & advocacy. We aim to provide a place for university students, families & professionals to come together, to learn more about serving individuals with hearing differences and to build connections with community agencies that specialize in hearing health and communication access.
