Are you looking for a place to connect with other families affected by hearing differences? Do you feel you are alone in your journey as a parent of a child with hearing loss? Do you ever wonder if anyone else understands what you are going through as a parent of a child with hearing loss?
Well, I have just the thing for you!! Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas has started a support group for parents and families just like YOU!!!
The next time they meet is JUNE 16th, 2016 at 5:30 pm. The meeting is open to ALL caregivers and children affected by ANY degree of hearing loss. Their goal is to provide a place for families to connect, share information and ideas, and receive support. They plan various activities and topics for the meetings and welcome any suggestions for future meetings. There is childcare available and a light dinner is served as long as parents RSVP in advance.
