Have you been looking for a place to connect with other families who have been affected by hearing differences? I have two upcoming events to share with you! Save the date for these awesome support groups that meet in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

1) Cook Children’s Medical Center offers a group called “Listen Up!”

This is a support groups for patients and families impacted by hearing loss. They meet again on Thursday, September 29th, 2016. A light dinner is served at 5:30 pm and the meeting runs from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm. Childcare is available IF you RSVP by Sept 22nd. See the flyer below for more information. I am excited to be the featured speaker at this event. Come hear about planning for services at school.

2) Moms Matter is a support group for moms of children with hearing differences.

They meet on the second Thursday every other month at LaMadeline in Allen, Texas. Save the Date for their next meeting on October 13th at 6:30 pm. No Kids Allowed. So set up childcare and come talk with other moms who understand. For more information check out their Facebook group Moms Matter.
