Get Connected

Being connected to the right resources can make all the difference – for anything in life! I can’t wait to get you connected to the resources that are right for YOU!

Check out these great opportunities to connect both nationally and locally:

1. AGBell – For Families and Professionals

Connect at www.agbell.org

If you are not yet connected to the Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, you are really missing out. This organization has been around since 1880 and has played an integral part in bringing listening and spoken language to children and adults who have hearing differences. With so many options out there for how to manage hearing differences, this is one place to get connected to information and support groups for those seeking spoken language outcomes for children and adults.

Speaking of connecting… I will be at the AGBell National Convention in Denver, CO next week…come connect with me!! I would love to meet you and hear your story about how hearing differences is a part of your life. Contact me at carrie@carrienorman.com

2. UTD Callier Center – For Education Audiologists

Join us THIS FRIDAY, June 24th, 2016 from 9:30 am-11:30 am at the UTD Callier Center, 1966 Inwood Road, Dallas, Texas 75235, Room A229. This presentation will identify obstacles regarding amplification options, training staff on FM/amplification and equipment, as well as challenges of working with English speaking and non-English speaking families of hearing impaired students. Suggestions and handouts will be provided.
